USCIS Completed Return of Failed H-1B FY-2016 Petitions:

For the fiscal year 2016 H-1B cap Petitions, USCIS completed the process of returning H-1B Petitions that were not selected in the H-1B lottery process.

Those who submitted H-1B cap Petition in the dates from April 1 to April 7 and hasn’t received their Receipt Notice ( Form I-797C, Notice of Action) or a returned H-1B petition by July 20, 2015, it is suggested to contact USCIS.

USCIS Resumed H-1B Extension Premium Processing:

On 19 May, 2015 USCIS announced that, it is suspending Form I-907 ( A request for the premium processing service of all Form I-129 H-1B extension of Stay Petition ) in order to implement H-4 EAD rule on time.

Starting on July 13, 2015 USCIS resumed accepting Form I-907 ( A request for the premium processing service of all Form I-129 H-1B extension of Stay Petition ). Premium processing requests for Form I-129 H-1B extension of stay petitions received by USCIS before July 13, 2015 will be rejected. Make sure you use the latest version of Form I-907 (edition date: 01/29/2015) while filing as USCIS will reject previous editions of this form.
